The commotion caught Crystal’s eye and of course, the rest is history.

Michael and Crystal were destined for one another. They tied the knot on October 8th, 2022 and it was magical being able to capture the love that they share for one another.

Some would say that you meet the one when you’re least expecting it. We have a strong feeling that Crystal and Michael would say that about their love story. They met at Hoosier Park Casino when Michael had knocked over a rack of purses. The commotion caught Crystal’s eye and of course, the rest is history.

Michael’s first impression of Crystal was True love at first sight. He knew from the moment that he met Crystal he was going to spend the rest of his life with her. “She’s such a beautiful lady inside and out. I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her.”

Crystal’s first impression of Michael was that they would be a part of each other’s lives possibly good friends. Once she started to get to know Michael she quickly realized that they were destined to be more than friends.

Micheal loves so many things about Crystal but the one thing he loves the most about her is the love she has for her kids. Crystal is the most selfless person and always puts the needs of her kids first and always above her own. She’s such an amazing mother to her two beautiful kids.

Crystal loves that Michael never lets the housework and adulting chores all fall on her shoulders by always lending a helping hand. She definitely has a real winner! Her favorite quality about Michael however, is that he always always puts the needs of her kids above his own. He loves those kids just as much as she does!

Jordan always knew there was something magical about him

There’s no denying the love that Jordan and Adam share. October 1st, 2022 my husband and I were honored to capture their special day!

How did these two lovebirds actually meet before they decided to spend the rest of their lives together? Adam started working at Willowbend the same place as Jordan. Even though they worked in the same building and would see each other occasionally, neither spoke during those first six months of him working there. Little did they know that they’d end up marrying one another.

Jordan’s first impression of Adam was that he has the most beautiful blue eyes she’d ever seen.  In other words, those eyes were “to die for”. As they continued dating, not only did she love his beautiful blue eyes, Adam has always had the ability to make her laugh.

All jokes aside, Adam always thought that Jordan was really beautiful but wondered what she ever saw in him. However, Jordan always knew there was something magical about him from the moment they started talking. As time together grew, their friendship and love also continued to grow.

On their wedding day, October 1st, 20202 friends and family gathered to celebrate Jordan and Adam and the love and commitment to each other. You could feel the anticipation and excitement in the room where the girls were getting their hair and make looks completed. The guys of course running around to make sure they had everything they needed. Jordan had the most beautiful flowers, shoes, and jewelry. The little details that make the day so special.

As Adam prepared to receive his bride the room was filled with love and happiness. The music was joyful and energetic. The food was absolutely delicious and the cupcakes were just perfect! We also all loved the fun cake exchange where Jordan and Adam smashed some cake into each other faces.

With the music going everyone danced the night away.

We pray that through their triumphs and trials that each year brings that they will lean on each other and strengthen each other. We pray that they will continue to build a life they always dreamed of together, with many years to come.

Portland, IN | Amanda & Doug's Outdoor Wedding | Mid-West Indiana Travel Wedding Photographer

stopping the whole concert, in front of thousands of people he got down on one knee and popped the question!

Amanda and Doug tied the knot on August 27th, 2022 and it was truly an honor to capture their love for each other.

If you have a chance of knowing Amanda and Doug you would know they both have a heart of gold.

Amanda's first impression of Doug was that he was the sweetest guy not only thinking about her but thinking about her children as well.

Amanda informed me when he came to pick her up for her birthday he showed up with flowers, a birthday card, cupcakes, and a candle for her and her girls to blow out before they left.

She said that he even made the comment, "happy birthday, let's see if I can make it to the second birthday!". No surprises but I am pretty sure he will make that second birthday just as special as the first.

Fast forward, to the Struggle Jennings concert where Doug planned the best surprise proposal.  On the front stage, stopping the whole concert, in front of thousands of people he got down on one knee and popped the question! A moment they both will remember for the rest of their life.

The day of the wedding couldn't have been possible without everyone helping hands. Ruth, Amanda’s mother, said she wanted to make sure Amanda's wedding was what she always dreamed of.

The flowers, decorations, and little details were key to making the day feel special. The food was delicious and the DJ played some rockin' tunes.

Amanda and Doug danced the night away with all their loved ones around. Their hearts glowing for each other. I truly believe without a doubt their love will fight the toughest battles life throws at them and their love will go the extra mile year after year. Some might even call them soul mates.

They will be each other’s shoulders to cry on, as well as each other’s biggest cheerleaders. My prayer for their marriage is that they continue to prioritize their quality time together and never stop doing the little things for each other, which in reality are the big things. And always remember to take time to order the pizza and beer to enjoy together.

Fort Wayne, IN| Isaac & Maddie’s Wedding | Mid-west Indiana Wedding Photographers

Isaac and Maddie's love story was God's intentional and divine timing. The timing of bringing them together was better than anyone could have imagined.

Isaac and Maddie's love story was God's intentional and divine timing. The timing of bringing them together was better than anyone could have imagined. As friends of the family, my husband and I were lucky enough to have the opportunity to capture their engagement and beautiful wedding day.

Isaac and Maddie had been acquaintances all of their life. They attended the same church, lived in the same area, and attended the same church camp. However, it wasn’t until last year’s church camp they really connected and became friends. They bonded over making and handing out cotton candy to the campers together. Because who wouldn't enjoy spending long hours in the hot summer sun making cotton candy with a cute girl?

After camp, Isaac and Maddie officially started dating as their time together individually and with their families continued to get longer. Isaac was even invited to the theatre with the Lindsey girls and games night at the Lindsey's! The family could tell Isaac was serious when he was attending the theatre with the girls, when he could have been watching baseball or hanging out with the Sauder guys.

As Maddie and Isaac were running late to the Nutcracker at the Embassy, Isaac pops the question on the bridge between the Grand Wayne Center and the Embassy theatre. Maddie with the encouraging words said "let's go, we are late" before she then realized Isaac was down on one knee.

As the day came to celebrate Isaac and Maddie's wedding day, we couldn't have asked for a more perfect day. The weather was beautiful, the food was delicious, the decorations were beautiful and the fellowship was delightful among family and friends. I don’t think this day could have been more perfect.

Isaac and Maddie remind me of versus Mark 10:9 "Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate." They are most hardworking, caring, and selfless people. They both have hearts of a servant and are loved and adored by many people.

We pray that the Lord continues to bless their relationship and call it a true blessing to see how God has worked and will continue to work in your lives. With the Lord's guidance, their love for each other, and the family supporting them, we know they cherish and experience many happy years together. <3

Muncie, IN, Minnetrista, Fall Family Session

“Because of course, family is the most important thing”

Have you ever met a family and thought to yourself, wow that family really loves and cares for each other? Let's be honest, no family is perfect, but I am always blown away with how well the family all works together.

I met Tiffany three years ago as she wanted family pictures taken, and as a new photographer it was a little intimating, however, they were so easy to work with it made my job easy.

I love getting to know the couple’s story and I am grateful Tiffany is allowing me to share part of her story. I love that Tiffany and Justin actually have known each other for a little while. By a little while, I mean.... remember 6th grade? She was a cheerleader and guess what? He played basketball. In their young love, they may have liked each other but it didn't get too serious.

After middle school and early adulthood, Tiffany married her husband and had four beautiful babies. Now, those babies are 17, 15, 12, and 10 years old! Through good and hard times, Tiffany and her husband decided it was best for them to separate. However, it doesn't even seem real Tiffany and Justin have been happily together for ten years now!!

Just by being around Tiffany and Justin, you know that they have experienced life's good and hard times as well, however, their smiling faces and gentle hearts are full of love for each other and each of the children.

What about the cute little one? She's is four years old and full of life! She is Justin’s first child. Many like myself, as an outsider, would have never guessed because Justin treats Tiffany's children like they’re his own. He is more than just a stepfather, he has selflessly stepped up to take care of and look after each child as his own without ever questioning it. I believe that's a true testimony of Justin's character and love for his family.

As a family, they love going out to eat, going to the movies, and just being together. Tiffany said, "because of course, family is the most important thing." Grateful to capture your beautiful family this fall, and for many years to come!!

Pendleton Falls, Indiana, Fall Maternity Session

Now, as they are expecting two beautiful baby girls I know that "they will figure it out."

Many people dream of having a life full of love, laughter, and happily ever after and when I think of Kelsi and Jason this couldn't be more true. This one might be a hard one to write because Kelsi is a very special person in my life. I (Taylor) have been lucky to have my friendship with Kelsi for over ten years.

Kelsi and I have been able to experience life through the highs and lows, and when she met Jason I knew things were going to be different this time. He made her smile way too much and in the early stages of the relationship you could tell all she could think about was Jason.

It's been a blessing to watch Kelsi and Jason love for each other grow and transform through the years. From strangers to becoming each other’s best friend. From their wedding day until now, their love for each other only grows stronger. (And as a family we were all grateful and surprised Jason handles Kelsi sometimes sassiness and we found out Jason can be sassy too!)

Now, as they are expecting two beautiful baby girls I know that "they will figure it out." They will find their own routine and maybe lose some sleep along the way, but it will all be worth it. As many have probably said don't blink, it goes faster than you think.

I wish you two all the love and happiness in the world, even though you two already have it. How blessed you are to celebrate this beautiful time in your life of bring these two beautiful babies into the world.

I know there will be times when you want to give up and there will be times you can't believe you made it this far, but I am assured there are many happy years ahead for you with many firsts. First steps, first falls, and first experiences to come.

I send my love to you, as soon to be mom and dad, to encourage you, babysit for you, and too spoil and love those babies as if they were my own. I'll leave you with these words, you may feel like the world may be on your shoulders right now, but you don't have to do this alone. Your family and friends love you guys and can't wait to be a part of the growing Jennings’s Family!!!

Carmel, IN | Colleen & Ryan's Wedding | Mid-West Indiana travel wedding photographer

After months of scheduling, planning, and preparing Colleen and Ryan's big day finally came. The weather may have been raining but hearts were definitely glowing.

Colleen and Ryan are a match made for each other. Lucky for me, Taylor, Ryan hired me as a Pharmacy technician for his store without knowing my husband and I would capture the special moments of his proposal to Colleen and their beautiful wedding day.

As told by Colleen's maid of honor and Ryan’s stories, Colleen and Ryan met through work at CVS. Colleen with a few years of experience found herself training and showing Ryan the ropes. A few months later Colleen received a gift of unexpected flowers at work with an anonymous note. Colleen called her maid of honor to let her know the news. As her maid of honor stated, "there could have been a few contenders as Colleen was single at this time". The advice she gave to Colleen was to say nothing and let the gentleman come to her. Colleen couldn't have been happier to find out it was Ryan.

Ryan and Colleen's relationship was getting pretty serious when I met Ryan. I found out that Colleen knew Ryan was thinking about popping the question, but she didn't know when. With her favorite song playing in the background, rose petals, printed pictures of the two of them, and of course the bottle of champagne, Ryan got down on one knee by the beautiful Indianapolis canal. She said yes and the crowd of people above the bridge cheered in celebration.

After months of scheduling, planning, and preparing Colleen and Ryan's big day finally came. The weather may have been raining but hearts were definitely glowing. From the wedding dress to the music band, every detail was perfectly in place.

Oh, and we can’t forget about all those bridesmaids and groomsmen!! There were so many of them they could have formed two football teams! Is it even legal to have that many people in your wedding party?!

The ceremony took place at Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church. A beautiful service with some amazing singing and communion! Soon after we traveled to Coxhall Gardens to take the bridal photos, just in time before it poured down with rain again.

After the Bridal portraits, it was off to The Bluffs at Conner Prairie. When we arrived, it was pouring but you wouldn’t have known that once inside. You could feel the love in the room from every who was able to make it, from those who couldn't make it, and especially the loved ones in heaven.

Colleen and Ryan surprised their guest with a choreographed dance. Her dress swirled and twirled the dancing floor, and Ryan smiling ear to ear. The couple exuded joy, love, and gratitude to all their family and friends.

Ryan and Colleen are the kind of people who would do anything for anyone without thinking about it. They have a selfless spirit and they always leave someone better than they found them. With hearts of gold, meant for each other, the couple and family in celebration of their love happily danced the night away.

Clayton, IN | Amanda & Josiah's Outdoor Wedding | Mid-west Indiana Wedding Photographer

The day of the wedding was elegant and loving.

Deal SP 73.JPG

Josiah and Amanda decided the format of their marriage would be a betrothal followed by a wedding. My husband and I (Taylor) were the lucky ones who had the honor and privilege of capturing their beautiful wedding.

Josiah and Amanda’s friendship started through the church and church gatherings. Their friendship turned into courting. As spotted on Amanda's Facebook on January 17th, a happy and smiling post of them together with Amanda's caption, "Happy 2 months of courtship!" Yay! The courting was going well. Through Josiah was primarily living and working in Wisconsin he was driving down to see his beautiful soon to bride on the weekends.

Although I was not able to attend the betrothal I know Josiah’s intentions with Amanda were pure and true. He brought her flowers and asked for the blessing from her father before they even started courting. During the betrothal, Josiah and Amanda committed themselves to each other, as did Christ with his covenant and commitment to the church.

The day of the wedding was elegant and loving. The house where the wedding took place was the home of the pastor who married them. Turns out the pastor has 10 children! Some were able to make it, others were not but each one of them were sure great helpers! Helping from Amanda's hair to making the wonderful breakfast food that we enjoyed for the reception dinner :)

After the beautiful exchange of vowels, Josiah proceeded to drip kiss his bride. Shortly after the ceremony, there was a lovely man and his guitar leading us all in a time of worship and praise. (Felt like a glimpse of heaven) The food was sweet and delicious, perfect for all the guests with a sweet tooth.

Lastly, Josiah and Amanda visited with their guests before their grand departure. Smoke bombs (purple of course), a car full of balloons, a last "hurray" and dip kiss as they got in their car and drove off into the sunset, happily ever after.
